Kohi Campers was founded by two New Zealanders who believe the best way to see this country is from a campsite others can’t reach.
Kohi Campers started the way most good ideas do, out of a genuine need. As passionate Kiwi campers ourselves, we wanted a setup that gave us real freedom. Not a motorhome that left us stuck at the campsite. Not a tent that packed up every morning. Something that combined the comfort of a fully equipped camper with the freedom of a ute.
The 600ATV Hardwall slide-on camper fitted to a Ford Ranger was that answer. We could drop the camper at a spot, drive away in the Ranger, and come back to a fully set-up home whenever we wanted. It changed the way we experienced New Zealand, and we knew other people deserved to experience it the same way.
That’s why we started offering rentals. So anyone can discover what we discovered — the parts of New Zealand that most visitors never see.
